Cris Gago

Her ceramics do not seek the spectacular gesture or immediate affirmation. Each piece is made one by one, where the action upon the material is, above all, an act of listening. “When I begin to touch the clay, a dialogue is created between the material and myself. That is when forms appear organically,” she explains. The work of Cris Gago as a ceramicist—artistic name of Cristina Garrón Gómez—does not arise from strategy or calculated pursuit, but from an interruption. After more than fifteen years linked to the fashion industry as a designer, something began to fall out of alignment. It

Silvia Valentín

In her Hortaleza studio, Madrid-based ceramic artist Silvia Valentín shapes a universe of her own: a territory where imperfect forms find their dignity, where ceramics becomes a way of being in the world. Silvia’s pieces do not seek symmetry or geometric perfection; they reclaim the beauty of the living, the irregular, what seems freshly rescued from a distant time. Trained in Fine Arts with a specialization in painting restoration, Silvia spent several years restoring mural paintings in archaeological sites until she discovered ceramics. She studied at the Francisco Alcántara School of Ceramics and has turned her work with clay into

Bestriz Gil. Pellizco Cerámica

Beatriz Gil represents the contemporary voice of a ceramic tradition passed down through generations of potters. A Fine Arts graduate from the University of Barcelona, her work pursues the purity of the organic, shaping forms and textures that evoke landscapes and memories rooted in the land. Her work is a sensitive reinterpretation of the passage of time, a visual expression of her deep connection with nature. Pellizco’s work with clay stems from an intuitive exploration. Every shape and texture becomes the reflection of a constant dialogue between the hands and the material, making each creation unique. In a world dominated

Olivia Cognet

In the heart of Vallauris, where clay has long been a muse for generations, a contemporary artist listens to the traces of the past. Olivia Cognet, sculptor of light and form, returned to this place after several years in Los Angeles, finding here a home, a studio, and a legacy. It was within the very walls that once welcomed Roger Capron —the great master who elevated ceramics to the realm of art— that Olivia chose to establish her atelier. Not as an act of nostalgia, but as a promise of continuity. In this legendary space, which she restored with reverence

Tania Whalen

A ceramist and researcher based in Oliete (Teruel)—the village where she was born and to which she later returned—Malia’s story begins with the visionary spirit of her grandfather, who started extracting clay for the ceramic industry. Her work focuses on the physical and chemical analysis of clays and raw materials from her local environment. Her artistic training, deep appreciation for craftsmanship, aesthetics, design, and a strong connection to her surroundings laid the foundation for a practice that fuses creativity and technique. Each of her creations begins with elements hand-collected and carefully selected, guided by inherited knowledge and a constant curiosity

Virginia Torrego

Virginia Torrego’s work is shaped from a place of deep attention. Her relationship with clay does not respond to urgency or immediate gesture, but to a conscious, unhurried process that respects the rhythms of the material. “My relationship with clay is a form of mindfulness,” she says. Through manual work she finds a way to pause, to observe, and to listen to what unfolds between hands and earth, understanding creation as a dialogue rather than an imposition. Born in Madrid, she initially trained in the Restoration of Antiques and in Sculpture and Art History at university, and worked professionally as

Anna Martí Ribes

She has a small workshop in Valencia. She has built her own wood-fired kiln, of which she is proud. She likes functional ceramics and the beauty of useful things that accompany us every day. That is why she started to focus on making plates, bowls, yunomis and tea ware. From there he moved on to oriental glazes and reductions. “A good piece of pottery can be something small, but I want it to be an unforgettable object for the person who buys it. In each batch I look for those pieces that make you fall in love. I have always
