In a setting like Ibiza, this 350 m2 house, originally dark, was crying out for an intervention that would open up large windows to flood it with light and connect it with the beautiful 3,000 m2 of gardens and the island’s vibrant nature. This is what interior designer Susanna Cots has done: fill this Mediterranean house with white, green and sandy colours, opening it up to the spectacle of the marvellous light that this island offers.<\/p>\n\n\n

On entering the house, in the entrance hall, we find a luminous space with a large window opening onto the garden, the swimming pool and the guest house, a space connected to the main house through a glass corridor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indoor outdoor integration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The living area, which shares space with the dining room and kitchen, opens up to the outside, integrating the porch and the garden through glass enclosures and creating a continuous space with a shared central element, a fireplace designed in a symmetrical way open to the living room and the porch. This produces the maximum interior-exterior integration that is one of the characteristics present in Susanna Cots’ projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This large living area offers a first space that integrates the large fireplace and opens completely onto the porch, forming a continuous whole with the porch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior designer has configured the dining room, next to the kitchen, as the central area of this day area, the nucleus of the home and of the family, framing it with a ceiling of natural beams and one of the two cupboards, which mark the identity of the room. In the kitchen we find the other cupboard and an island creating a small office and breakfast area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A second living space, with the television and another fireplace, is intended for more secluded moments, but also, through large windows in the walls and ceiling, open to the more extroverted exterior: an outdoor space with a white bench of purely Mediterranean inspiration, accompanied by a fountain that refreshes the atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the garden, a Nordic-inspired conservatory becomes the meeting point for family and friends gatherings. A magical space that allows you to enjoy the warmth of any season of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protective privacy on the first floor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On this floor are the bedrooms, the master suite, a very comfortable space with a fireplace that can be enjoyed both from the bed and from the shower, two symmetrical suites that share a full bathroom with doors integrated into the furniture, and another suite with a separate bathroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This floor also has a third living room with an office, a suitable place to isolate oneself and enjoy reading and meditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susanna Cots<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Susanna Cots hace m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os que dise\u00f1a espacios con un talento innato para crear equilibrio y confort visual. Su manera de trabajar la iluminaci\u00f3n, el binomio distribuci\u00f3n-emoci\u00f3n y la naturaleza hace que su dise\u00f1o interior favorezca la conciencia, el bienestar y la atenci\u00f3n plena. Su trayectoria empieza en 2001 con su primer estudio en Catalunya y se ha ido consolidando a nivel internacional hasta la apertura de una segunda delegaci\u00f3n en Hong Kong en 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La investigaci\u00f3n constante alrededor del dise\u00f1o y el bienestar emocional ha llevado a Susanna Cots a crear la marca The Eleven House<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El trabajo de la dise\u00f1adora ha sido reconocido por premios de prestigio internacional como los German Design Awards<\/strong> (Alemania, 2020), los Luxury Lifestyle Awards<\/strong> y los Lux Life<\/strong> (Inglaterra, 2017 y 2018), los Idea Top Awards<\/strong>(China, 2012 y 2013).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tambi\u00e9n ha recibido el reconocimiento como finalista en los Society of British Interior Design SBID Awards<\/strong>, los Porcelanosa Interiors Awards<\/strong>, los New York International Contemporary Furniture Fair<\/strong> (ICFF) y los Premios FAD<\/strong> de Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su perfil ha aparecido destacado en publicaciones de m\u00e1s de 30 pa\u00edses y ha participado como ponente en charlas de dise\u00f1o en \u00e1mbitos profesionales y universitarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
