Joana Bover: designing from lived experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Joana Bover\u2019s creative journey is as singular as it is coherent. With a background in audiovisual media, she began her career in the 1990s managing press relations at production houses such as Ov\u00eddeo and Lola Films, where she worked alongside director Bigas Luna\u2014a key influence in her vision of design as storytelling. From that period, she inherited a keen sensitivity to the conceptual dimension of objects, and a cross-disciplinary view that blurs art and everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motherhood marked a turning point, leading her to collaborate with architects at the 1992 Seville Expo, where she created iron structures that would foreshadow her future lighting collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, Bover has built a brand rooted in local, ethical, and beautiful production\u2014one that engages in a continuous dialogue with both time and architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
