After graduating from the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague, she moved to Paris, where she began collaborating with several French and foreign companies.<\/p>\n<p>She spent several years in Paris, where she transformed and refined the influences, inspiration and values arising from the city&#8217;s diverse cultures into her charismatic, elegant style and sensual formal language.<\/p>\n<p>He soon specialised in glass sculptures, creating beautiful and poetic pieces. She loves to combine glass with other materials.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010, she was named Discovery of the Year in the \u2018Czech Grand Designer\u2019 competition, as well as in the \u2018Elle D\u00e9coration Talent\u2019 competition two years later for the best lighting design, in addition to the Designer of the Year award.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010 she started working for Brokis, starting with her great collection Balloons and Muffins, which has become a true icon of the brand. In 2014 she was appointed its artistic director and has since produced a series of successful designs for Brokis.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012 she opened her studio in Paris, which is now based in Prague.<\/p>\n<p>Lucie Koldova&#8217;s artistic expression is the result of combining different cultures with her own personal, sophisticated and charming style. Her field of work is very broad and ranges from unique pieces of furniture to glass sculptures for museums to everyday objects.<\/p>\n<p>Lucie uses classic craft techniques and cutting-edge technologies, focusing mainly on the pure beauty of materials such as wood and glass. \u2018I am proud to be part of a country with a rich history and background in glass and this also motivates me to continue this exciting history of glass.
