From her base in Barcelona, Mar\u00eda Pujol has crafted a visual language rooted in interior design, architecture and portraiture. Since graduating in 2005 from the Institut d\u2019Estudis Fotogr\u00e0fics de Catalunya (IEFC), she has built a career that balances technical precision with a poetic sensitivity to space and light.<\/p>\n
For four years, she trained as an assistant to an editorial photographer, contributing to magazines such as Woman<\/i>, Elle<\/i>, Habitania<\/i> and Casaviva<\/i>. It was during this period that she developed an eye for detail and an acute awareness of atmosphere\u2014key elements in the construction of every image. Today, she works as a freelance photographer for publications including Interiores<\/i>, El Mueble<\/i>, AD<\/i>, Proyecto Contract<\/i>, Telva<\/i>, Mi Casa<\/i> and Casa R\u00fastica<\/i>, and collaborates closely with numerous interior designers and architects across Spain.<\/p>\n
In 2024, together with stylist and art director Mar Gausachs, she founded KanelaStudio\u2014an experimental space where they conceive creative projects for brands such as Bover Lights Barcelona. In parallel, at LensEscuela and under the guidance of Maria Azk\u00e1rate, she continues to deepen her approach to architectural photography, cultivating an expressive, authorial gaze.<\/p>\n
But Mar\u00eda Pujol does more than capture interiors\u2014she interprets them. She senses their atmosphere, inhabits them through her lens, and translates them into visual narratives that invite the viewer to enter.
