Ariadna Polo (Quer\u00e9taro, 1994) is an architect and photographer. She currently lives and works in Mexico City.<\/p>\n
She studied Architecture at Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey, Quer\u00e9taro Campus, and gained professional experience at Ruum Arquitectos (Quer\u00e9taro) and Escobedo Soliz (Mexico City). Since 2021, she has focused her practice on the photographic documentation of spaces, a field where she has developed a distinctive and sensitive voice.<\/p>\n
She is co-founder of Estudio Maza, a space for experimentation through photography that she shares with other photographers and creatives. Her work seeks to reveal the essence of each atmosphere beyond the aesthetic: to convey how a space is lived and felt, as well as the emotions and memories it evokes. She is particularly interested in capturing the memory of architectural and landscape spaces, making visible the passage of time.<\/p>\n
Her photographs have been featured in national and international architecture platforms such as Domus, Arquine, ArchDaily, Divisare,<\/i> and Architectural Digest,<\/i> among others. She has exhibited her work in Mexico City galleries such as Liga DF and Galer\u00eda Nueva.<\/p>\n
Recently, she was awarded the Arquine Grant to participate in the XIII Photography Workshop of RCR Arquitectes in Olot, Girona. She has also pursued photography programs at Escuela Activa de Fotograf\u00eda (Mexico City), the National Center for the Arts (CENART), and other institutions.<\/p>\n
