Zooco is an architecture studio founded in 2009 by Miguel Crespo Picot, Javier Guzmán Benito, and Sixto Martín Martínez, architects from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid. The studio covers a wide range of design fields, from large-scale construction to furniture design. The use of client-specific solutions and needs, along with a timeless language free of noise and ornamentation, are the hallmarks of a studio that is constantly seeking new challenges.

Currently based in Madrid and Santander, the studio carries out projects both nationally and internationally. Over the past ten years, their work includes more than 50 projects published in national and international specialized media, some of which have been recognized with awards such as the prestigious Design Vanguard 2019, NAN Construcción 2019 + 2020, Frame Awards 2020, European 40 under 40 2020, and the Dezeen Awards 2022. They were recently selected by Forbes magazine as one of the 100 most creative Spaniards in the business world.

Their philosophy is to approach every commission—regardless of scale, budget, or program—with the same attitude and creative ambition, applying a consistent process in search of a solution that is appropriate and valuable from both an aesthetic and functional standpoint. In today’s fast-changing and fleeting world, they aim to create architectural and spatial solutions that withstand the test of time and endure beyond the constant emergence of trends and fashions, phenomena that often cause most creative proposals to become quickly obsolete. One of their main objectives is to present design as an added value, profitable for achieving commercial success in business.
