Linde Freya Tangelder (Netherlands, 1987) is a Dutch designer whose work navigates the intersections of art, design, and architecture. Founder of the studio Destroyers/Builders, her practice is marked by a strong sculptural sensibility, a deep respect for materials, and an aesthetic that blends brutalism with intimacy.

Educated between the Netherlands and Belgium, Tangelder’s approach revolves around the idea of “building through destruction,” using contrasts in texture, proportion, and finish to create furniture and objects that feel both raw and refined. Her work often draws inspiration from architectural fragments, utilitarian objects, or industrial elements reimagined through a poetic lens.
