Joana Bover’s professional path is as singular as it is coherent. With a background in audiovisual media, she began her career in the 1990s as a press officer for production companies such as Ovídeo and Lola Films, where she worked alongside director Bigas Luna—a key figure in shaping her vision of design as storytelling. From that period, she inherited a distinct sensitivity for concept as applied to objects, and a cross-disciplinary perspective bridging art and everyday life.

Motherhood marked a turning point that led her to collaborate with architects at the 1992 Seville Expo, creating iron structures that foreshadowed her future lighting collections. Since then, Bover has built a strong brand—committed to local, ethical, and beautiful production—that engages in dialogue with time and architecture.
