Since 2017, the EcoCero brand, specialising in the design of acoustic solutions, has broken down the barrier between acoustics and design, offering designers the possibility of integrating acoustic materials into their design projects.
The acoustic materials created by EcoCero integrate sound-absorbing acoustic panels made of Pet plastic from recycled bottles. Each square metre of material used by EcoCero represents the recycling of 75 plastic bottles. Every year, at their facilities in San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante), they convert more than five million plastic bottles into acoustic conditioning panels, a versatile material that can be cut, die-cut, folded, glued and much more.
Ecological design is the basis of all the work of EcoCero, which aims to make acoustic comfort affordable for everyone, in a simple, fast, sustainable and aesthetic way. To this end, it has set out to modernise the acoustic sector with an original proposal, with the collaboration of Spanish interior designers Erico Navazo, Masquespacio, The Room, Alejandra Pombo and Noe Prades. EcoCero has thus created a collection of acoustic solutions with designs that stand out for their versatility, timelessness and sustainability.
Erico Navazo
Erico Navazo has designed for EcoCero the Meet collection, which emulates the aesthetics of wood and complements the Econordik line of EcoCero panels and a second proposal, which combines volumes and geometric figures in 60cm x 60cm panels to generate compositions on walls and ceilings.

studied Interior Design at the Official School of Applied Arts in Madrid. He is a reference in the world of interior design. His work is characterised by his good taste when it comes to mixing different periods and styles. From a very young age he felt a vocation for decoration and throughout his meteoric career he has won major awards, such as the AD Interiorista del Año 2019 Award, National Interiorista in 2022 by the magazine Interiores 2022 or the AD100 list, which includes the 100 most influential architects and interior designers in Europe.

Masquespacio ‘s imaginary has been captured in the Puzzle collection and in the design of a stand that recreates a hotel lobby, showing the capacity of EcoCero panels to transform any object with sound-absorbent qualities.

In 2010 Ana Milena Hernández and Christophe Penasse founded the design studio Masquespacio with the aim of doing something different… something that would make them feel proud and that would transmit their purpose of seeking innovation in every project. They have been lucky enough to work in several countries around the world, discover new cultures and make new friends. Thanks to their innovative approach in search of unique and out-of-the-ordinary experiences for each design, they have been awarded numerous relevant international prizes.

The design proposal presented by The Room Studio integrates lighting within the acoustic panels themselves, fusing the naturalness of materials and technology to generate lighting and emotional sensations throughout the spaces.

Alejandra Pombo
In the first proposal we show, Alejandra Pombo designs a sophisticated and sensorial cocktail bar in Madrid Inside Art & Design (MIAD) 2024. A reserved and clandestine space that offers a unique sensory experience and stimulates all the senses.
In her second proposal, the designer has created modular and organic pieces that allow interior designers to play with colour and shapes in a playful way in their projects.
Alejandra Pombo
A graduate in Interior Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Alejandra Pombo worked with the interior designer Pascua Ortega and in 2010 created her own interior design studio. Since then she has designed interiors for private homes, clinics, restaurants and national and international hotels. His main objective is to understand and mimic the soul of each project in order to capture and materialise it as faithfully as possible. Aware of the responsibility he has in each project, he has managed to create a chameleon-like studio capable of creating spaces with their own identity.
Noé Prades
The proposal by the interior designer Noé Prades for EcoCero includes the design of two lamps: Breeze, a ceiling model that according to the designer “evokes the beat and sound of the air through the silhouette and function of the acoustic materials”, and Colibrí, inspired in the song of this colourful bird, with three vibrant shades.

Is a passionate interior designer who sees in every project an opportunity to express his creativity and convey deep emotions through design. From an early age, Noé knew his path was in design and graduated as an Interior Architect, since then he has experienced continuous growth and constant learning. His work has been widely recognised and he was named by Architectural Digest (AD) magazine as one of the best Spanish designers.
