FRPO is an internationally award-winning architectural design firm based in Madrid, involved in a wide range of projects. The studio is committed to innovative design as an ongoing conversation among all the agents involved in the complex processes of placemaking, understanding architecture as a means to improve our relationship with the environment.
Since 2005, FRPO has been active in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and design. The extensive training and experience of Pablo Oriol and Fernando Rodríguez have laid the foundation for a high-level professional practice, where research and a commitment to contemporary architectural methods have led to nationally and internationally acclaimed results. Notable projects include the San José Station in Toluca (Mexico), the Ecological Thermal Power Plants for DH Ecoenergías in Palencia and Ávila, the Azucarera and Elcano housing complexes in Tudela and Madrid, the IX BIAU Exhibition in Rosario (Argentina), and the Magnifica Fabbrica for the Teatro alla Scala in Milan (Italy).
