In Warsaw, a studio called Indoor, founded in 2007, has learned to listen to the murmur of spaces. Its founders, Barbara Łaźniewska and Maciek Tarchalski, creators of atmospheres, give life to an architecture of the soul: their lines, their textures, and the light that travels through every corner reveal intimate stories. Their works endure where the transcendental emerges from simplicity, and every detail breathes, loves, and accompanies.
Barbara, trained in landscape architecture, found her vocation in interiors after collaborating on the design of luxurious environments; Maciek, a graduate of the Cracow University of Technology and seasoned in prestigious Warsaw architecture offices, broadened his vision through a master class with Glenn Murcutt in Australia.
Their spaces resist standardization. Each project is an intimate journey, inspired by architecture, art, and nature. They are revealed in their simplicity: they embrace minimalism, yet do not shy away from color or unusual forms. Their creative mark is subtle, yet indelible.
A highlight of their career is the honor of being the first Polish interior design studio nominated for the prestigious international Edida Award in 2019, recognition of their ability to dream in the language of space and light.
