Delcourt Collection: a furniture publisher founded by Christophe Delcourt, where design and craftsmanship collaborate closely to create pieces of the highest quality

Delcourt Collection has never abandoned its core principles nor its demanding standards, but its style has evolved: initially refined, it has grown more expressive, daring to become more eclectic, drawing inspiration from architectural elements, works of art, materials, or assembly techniques.

It was in the workshops where Christophe Delcourt first learned the craft, the materials, the know-how, and the exacting standards of high-end furniture making. Since the founding of Delcourt Collection in 1995, he has collaborated closely with invited designers such as François Champsaur, Jean-Pierre Tortil, Tristan Auer, Forest-Giaconia, Charles Kalpakian, and Vincent Dupont-Rougier, alongside a network of master artisans — cabinetmakers, ceramists, bronze workers, upholsterers, and stone masons — to design, develop, and produce each piece, building a catalog that has become one of the symbols of French furniture craftsmanship.

Each piece bearing the Delcourt Collection mark is, above all, a testament to the close collaboration between designer and artisan: a style of French excellence that prefers discretion over ostentation, now a true signature of the house.

Delcourt’s passion for wood and fine cabinetmaking

To design and make furniture is to construct, to breathe life into a durable, stable element. Much like the skeletal frame of a house, the table is the first and essential piece of this interior architecture. This furniture alone expresses Delcourt Collection’s deep attachment to a material — wood — and to a craft — fine cabinetmaking.

Every plank marks the beginning of a construction, of a story. By embracing the material’s natural qualities, the designer and cabinetmaker reveal its strength and subtlety. As seasons change, so too do the wood species, renewing the craft in each detail, each joint, each profile. Without ever resorting to artifice, the artisan’s hand gives voice to the material, taming its apparent rigor to unveil its flexibility, freedom, and countless possibilities — all while preserving its unique character.

Atelier, haute-couture quality tailor-made

The greatest strength of a design lies in its ability to adapt to the specifics of its environment — whether it be a living room, a boutique, a workspace, or a hotel lobby. In doing so, it asserts its own style while enhancing the fundamentally unique nature of each project in which it appears.

A base that supports round, square, or oval shapes. A tabletop that transitions effortlessly from wood to marble, from matte to polished finishes, from light to dark tones. A sofa that tells a new story when its upholstery, form, or size changes.

To support this bespoke approach, Delcourt Collection offers a material library featuring finishes that allow for the customization of catalog pieces. Professionals can create their own palettes, comparing materials and finishes through samples and tools developed in close collaboration with the brand’s artisans.

Christophe Delcourt

French designer Christophe Delcourt, born in Paris in 1966, began producing furniture and lighting as a self-taught craftsman. After founding Delcourt Collection in 1995, he opened his own gallery in the Marais district in 1998, thus entering the French — and later international — design scene. He quickly established himself thanks to the artisanal authenticity of his creations and the quality of their manufacture.

His passion for craftsmanship is reflected in refined, ergonomic, and rigorously designed objects, where material becomes the protagonist, shaped by exceptional fabrication techniques.
Alongside his work as a manufacturer, Delcourt has also collaborated with prestigious brands such as Baxter, CC-Tapis, Collection Particulière, HC28 Cosmo, Minotti, Roche Bobois, and Wall&Decò.
