Deleite Design

Deleite Design was founded in Madrid in 2013 as the natural evolution of a way of understanding creative work: close, meticulous and deeply connected to people. The studio is led by the duo formed by Lara de la Mata and Daniel Povedano, both trained in Interior Architecture at ESNE and at Universidad Camilo José Cela, where they met during their final year of studies.

Their professional path began at a complex moment, marked by the economic crisis, which—far from holding them back—prompted an alternative way of starting their practice. First as a blog-studio and, shortly afterwards, as an online décor store, they began to shape their own language through direct contact with objects, furniture and everyday spaces. From there came their first furnishing commissions and, gradually, full interior design projects that consolidated the emergence of Deleite Design as a studio.

The work of Lara de la Mata and Daniel Povedano is built on attentive listening. Each project stems from a deep understanding of how their clients live, their real needs and their desires, approaching interior design as an exercise in precision rather than authorial imposition. The studio adopts a deliberately discreet role: identity is not expressed through a recognisable gesture, but through method—through a consistent way of approaching the process and caring for every decision.

Deleite Design advocates for timeless spaces, conceived to age naturally and to ensure long-term value, while still allowing for carefully measured contemporary accents. Their projects are constructed through detail, material coherence and a global vision of space, where aesthetics and functionality move forward in parallel. It is within this balance that their signature lies: a serene, conscious practice, oriented towards creating interiors that accompany—rather than dominate—the lives of those who inhabit them.
