Diego Sampere has a degree in Industrial Design from the Eina school in his hometown, and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Design from the IED. He defines himself as a ceramist and a lover of good food. These two passions are at the origin of his handcrafted pottery workshop in La Bisbal d’Empordà, a village with a long history in ceramics, where he designs and manufactures tableware for chefs and for all those who value original, quality tableware for their tables.
He is committed to raising awareness of this artisan craft, which is why his pottery workshop is always open, where you can see the entire production process, which is completely handmade. His collections have a very Mediterranean inspiration. She uses technology and computers to design her prototypes, but also to look for new ways of sustainability:“Because we always try to recycle in the whole production process of the workshop: from the materials that come in to the packaging”.
