Architect from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Sevilla and International Doctorate in Advanced Architectural Projects from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He currently teaches Architectural Projects and is director of the LabVIS research group at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil.
He is founder of Bamba estudio with projects such as the Cabañón DLPM which has won the Arquia/Próxima prize in 2022 and the International prize at the BAQ 2016 and Las Tejedoras together with Natura Futura which has won the Mies Crown Hall America Prize and the Construmat Awards Sustainability both in 2024. He is co-founder of the platform Txt.Críticos and member of the Editorial Board of Domus-Ecuador Magazine.
