A self-taught artist and craftsman, he took a carpentry course with Gonzalo Arbutti. From Buenos Aires he went to Chapadmalal, near the sea, with Natalia, his wife, and there they currently live with their daughter Francisca and their cats, Canelón and Ramona, in constant contact with nature, their source of inspiration.
Agustín manages to turn into art his continuous and profound dialogue with his environment and with wood in particular, ‘a dialogue that has more to do with the imprint of the tree than with wood as a product’, as he himself says.
