Director and creative soul of Blakstad Design Consultants, Rolf was born and raised in Ibiza, in the house where the Morna Valley School—founded by his mother—first began. As a child, he would accompany his father, Rolph (founder of the studio in 1967), on site visits, weaving architectural dreams among stone walls and precise drawings. It was an innate education, a familial geography, that led him naturally to embrace the legacy with humility and passion.

Today, as a contemporary custodian of Ibizan architecture, Rolf embodies a subtle fusion of tradition and modernity. His work is imbued with a deep respect for local history, creating spaces in sincere dialogue with their surroundings and the people who live in them. As he himself reflects, “it is not about projecting an ego, but about adapting each design to the life of a family.”
