Studiopepe creates the interior design of the renovated Gallotti&Radice showroom in Milan, with a more feminine and modern style.

The company Gallotti&Radice, which in the early sixties was the first in Italy to promote the study and use of glass in furniture, presented its renovated Milan showroom at Milan Design Week 2024 with a museum approach, now offering, with interior design by Studiopepe, a more feminine and more modern style, thanks to the softness of the curves, with a universal language that conveys the personality of the environment and of the products on display.

Gallotti&Radice selects timeless design products that are as contemporary now as they were sixty years ago and, at the same time, able to anticipate trends. What makes the difference is the attention to detail, the quality of the materials and the refinement of the lines and finishes. The Gallotti&Radice collection is made up of pieces with great personality and a strong identity, capable of characterising interior design projects and expressing different moods.

Studiopepe has conceived the exhibition hall as an organic, fluid space without barriers, enveloped in a kind of skin of monochromatic material that emphasises the renewed volumes and facilitates dialogue with the pieces chosen for the exhibition.

For both Gallotti&Radice and Studiopepe, the key concepts present in their DNA are harmony, material and craftsmanship. It is not surprising that Studiopepe has a major role in the team of designers of the Gallotti&Radice collection for which it has designed products such as the Stami Sofa sofas, the Selee-T table, the H20 chairs or the Ipeborea upholstery, all of which were presented in 2024.

The interior design project, which bears the name of Sinestesia, celebrates timeless aesthetics.Synaesthesia is the association of two words that belong to different sensory spheres, thus indicating the importance of the process of acquiring reality through different sensory phenomena. Through touch we can see, just as through the eyes we can caress. An exciting journey capable of transporting visitors to the exhibition beyond the limits of traditional perception, transporting them to a space of artistic connections and suggestions.

The exhibition features some outstanding pieces of art, as well as products from the Gallotti&Radice collection such as the Soda display sideboard by Draga&Aurel, with a new finish, the Prism Low coffee tables by David/Nicolas and the new Bolle Stelo lamp by Massimo Castagna. Products that, as you would expect, combine perfectly with works of art that are the result of meticulous and detailed research.

AArte Invernizzi, Milan’s historic contemporary art gallery, will curate an installation with a selection of wall paintings by the artist Rodolfo Invernizzi, a leading figure in Italian art in the second half of the 20th century.

The objects, meanwhile, are works by artists represented by Officine Saffi, a Milan-based foundation that seeks new dialogues with contemporary ceramics.

Iperborea, finally, is designed by Studiopepe for Similea, a workshop of high craftsmanship where the skilled hands of expert embroiderers create embroidery and accessories that have contributed to the beauty of garments created by the world’s most famous fashion brands.

Studiopepe

Studiopepe is an architecture and design studio founded by Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto in 2006 in Milan. It specialises in residential, commercial and hospitality interiors as well as product design. Since 2018, the Studio has been listed in AD100 among the top 100 designers of the year.
