K-Studio

K-Studio is a Greek architectural practice founded by brothers Dimitris Karampatakis and Konstantinos Karampatakis, with a contextual approach that creates unique and immersive experiences through architecture, interior design, and landscape design. This method allows them to achieve a holistic sense of experience across the full range of spatial qualities within each project. They apply this approach to projects of any scale, enabling them to treat larger, more complex developments as collections of smaller studies—creating expansive systems with greater clarity, definition, and attention to detail.

Based in Greece—a country of incredible natural beauty and resources, where cultural identity is rooted in outdoor living and the mindful use of local skills, materials, and agriculture—K-Studio seeks to offer enriching hospitality to visitors from near and far.

They craft architectural experiences grounded in tradition, enriched by materiality, and inspired by contemporary life.

“We don’t like waste. We make minimal interventions that use minimal resources, and we always prefer to work with the elements to create comfort that is naturally exquisite. Our experience is intuitive and applies to projects across various programs. But over the years, through academic research and hands-on experience, we’ve evolved to specialize in designing and delivering projects within the leisure industry,” they explain.

Their philosophy centers on building strong identities and architectural narratives that use local context in balance with contemporary aspirations to elevate and enrich user enjoyment.

“Enjoyment is key to determining the success of our designs—from private vacation homes to restaurants, bars, hotels, and resorts. It was also the driving force behind two recently completed large-scale projects: a marina on the Turkish coast and the redesign of Mykonos Airport.”

They have collaborated with highly knowledgeable and experienced clients, including Four Seasons and O&O in Athens, and Temes in the Peloponnese. Their contextual approach has also taken them abroad, with international projects in locations such as Israel, Qatar, Panama, and Kuala Lumpur.
