Louis Morgan converts former Paris offices into a remarkable aparthotel

In the 16th arrondissement of Paris, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and with the Eiffel Tower as a discreet neighbor, Studio Louis Morgan has reinvented the essence of urban hospitality. The project, designed for Edgar Suites, transforms former offices into a surprising aparthotel, where Parisian intimacy mingles with an unmistakable Californian flair.

Louis Aspar Morgan, founder of the studio, has envisioned a vibrant, playful refuge that shuns convention. Here, graphic forms and bold colors merge with retro echoes, generating a cinematic atmosphere that invites both retreat and visual play. Each room becomes a chapter in an immersive tale, where the contrasts of material, light, and color take center stage.

In the living room, dark terracotta walls and teal velvet sofas coexist with custom-made bas-relief sculptures, composing a setting of tactile sensuality. An open walnut kitchen with tile inlays adds a domestic warmth, balancing theatricality with hospitality.

The bedrooms unfold surprising transitions between palettes and textures: a delicate bedroom in pink and mustard tones contrasts with a glamorous bathroom clad in glossy tiles and terrazzo. Unexpected details, such as striped risers, stylized arches, or a resin cactus that seems to come alive, reinforce the scenographic character of the whole.

The project maintains a subtle balance between Parisian elegance and Californian audacity, exploring a language that is already characteristic of Studio Louis Morgan: narrative, eclectic, immersive, and touched with irreverence. The residence, with its multiple bedrooms, spacious living rooms, terrace, and sauna, redefines the concept of aparthotel and elevates it to a territory where design, comfort, and experience merge into a single reality.

At Hotel Particulier Passy, Louis Aspar Morgan demonstrates that interior architecture can be both an act of welcome and a gesture of audacity. A hidden gem in Paris that confirms the studio’s ability to create intimate and memorable universes.

Louis Aspar Morgan

Louis Aspar Morgan, the spirit and founder of Studio Louis Morgan in Paris, belongs to that generation of creators who conceive interior architecture as a narrative. He gives voice to the spaces he creates, building in each place a story of its own. His gaze, attentive to matter, light and atmosphere, turns projects into stages where experience transcends the everyday and enters the realm of the sensorial.

A graduate of ENSCI (École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle), Louis Aspar honed his skills at Ateliers Jean Nouvel before joining designer Ora-ïto’s studio and later the branding agency Lonsdale. In 2012, he founded Studio Louis Morgan in Paris.

In recent years, the studio has delivered a series of projects that have positioned it as a benchmark of narrative and contemporary design. Restaurants, clubs and private residences have been its creative laboratory, territories where innovation coexists with memory, and function always encounters poetry. In each of them a constant emerges: granting every space a unique, precise and recognizable identity. Its portfolio includes notable Parisian names such as Immersion Paris, Bloom Sushi (Batignolles and Wagram), Giulia Club, Maison Pinsa and, more recently, Red Katz, as well as Terraza Mikuna, located on the sixth floor of BHV Marais.

In every case, the studio brings craft and contemporary design into dialogue, the warmth of the natural with the boldness of the urban. Its sensibility is nourished by artistic and cultural references that intertwine with the present: cinema, music, architectural memory, the vibration of the city.
