The poetry of water: Andreína Raventós and Bathco at Casa Decor 2025

In the 60th edition of Casa Decor, architect Andreína Raventós and the firm Bathco invite us to immerse ourselves in a sensory universe with their proposal Bosque Kalasin. This space redefines the concept of the bathroom, transforming it into a sanctuary where nature and design converge in perfect harmony.

With over 45 years of experience, the Cantabrian firm Bathco has established itself as one of the leading brands in the bathroom sector thanks to its constant commitment to design, innovation, and craftsmanship. Its dedication to material experimentation and collaborative work with artists and designers is reflected in projects such as the Bathco Atelier, a creative laboratory where unique pieces are handcrafted. The Kalasin collection, the centerpiece of the space at Casa Decor, is an example of this philosophy: a line of pedestal sinks made from bamboo that combine sustainability and elegance with a strong sculptural component.

An imaginary forest in the heart of Madrid.

Bosque Kalasin presents itself as an immersive environment that transports visitors to a dreamy, serene landscape deeply connected to nature. The heart of the space is the Kalasin pedestal sink by Bathco, crafted from bamboo, which stands like a sculptural piece amidst an atmosphere that evokes the tranquility of a forest. Bamboo, the conceptual axis of the proposal, not only adds warmth and texture but embodies a sustainable vision of design: it is one of the most renewable materials on the planet, capable of growing quickly without the need for replanting. This natural essence is reflected in both the design of the sink and the spatial language of the environment. Completing the scene, a mural hand-painted by the artists at the Atelier de Bathco suggests the flow of water, reinforcing the sensory and symbolic connection to the natural world.

Andreína Raventós

Born in Venezuela in 1986 and trained in Spain, she moved to Spain as a teenager and graduated from architecture school in 2014. She has lived in various cities that have enriched her perspective on different cultures and ways of life. After working at a firm in Geneva, she returned to Madrid and founded her own studio in 2016.

Andreína Raventós has developed a career characterized by the exploration of natural materials and the creation of spaces that invite introspection. She enjoys experimenting with the concept of flexibility and the idea of the “art of living,” creating spaces and pieces driven by intuition. Her artistic approach and interest in keeping traditional crafts alive are reflected in each of her projects.

He has exhibited his work on numerous occasions at the Salone Satellite in Milan and at Casa Decor in Madrid, and has participated in significant exhibitions such as “La Línea Sueña” at the Madrid Design Festival 2025. In this showcase, he presented a lamp made using 3D printing with cayenne petals and orange peel, paying homage to his home country and exploring the relationship between light and material.
