Every project published in Exágono reaches our readers through the eye of a photographer. It is they who open the doors to a home, guide us through a commercial space, or reveal the subtleties of a new piece of furniture with a precision and sensitivity that only their craft allows. Behind every frame lies a decision, an interpretation, a visual narrative..
On the occasion of PhotoEspaña 2025, the country’s foremost photography festival, we present PhotoExágono, a series of articles dedicated to the photographers who give visual soul to our magazine. We join this celebration of the image from our own territory: that of architecture, interior design and furniture. And we do so by honouring those who, through their lens, turn spaces and designs into stories that help us see and understand them in new ways.
We have chosen these photographers not only for the quality and consistency of their work, but because they form part of Exágono’s visual universe. Their images have shaped many of the projects we have shared with our readers—and without them, those architectures, interiors and designs simply would not exist as we know them.
With PhotoExágono, we aim to give them the place they truly deserve—not just in a photo credit, but within our pages, with the same prominence given to designers, interior architects and studios. From now on, their biographies will be featured in the magazine alongside direct links to the projects they have contributed to, securing their presence as essential authors in the communication of design.
This ongoing series is also a tribute to their often quiet, yet absolutely indispensable work. Because photographers interpret, translate, and reveal—and thanks to them, we see more, and we understand better.
